The Morton Chamber of Commerce is your biggest promoter! Take advantage of free programs including Business After Hours, office referrals, online directories, ribbon cuttings and ground breakings, Chamber Checks, Morton Deals, Member-to-Member Discounts, and our Welcome to Morton Bags. Networking
Meeting potential customers is critical to our Members, which is why we offer a variety of networking opportunities including our monthly Business After Hours and our annual Member Networking Breakfast, Golf Outing, and Working Women’s Luncheon. We also work with our surrounding Chambers to host several regional Business After Hours each year.
Assistance
Our in-house staff provides one-on-one assistance to our Members, helping them with everything from business planning to grant writing. We also offer customized customer surveys.
Training
Local and regional workshops on everything from human resource management to quality customer service are organized for our Members through our LEAP program series. The Chamber also sponsors Leadership Morton, a local leadership program that is held every two years.
Advocacy
The viewpoint of the business community is heard loud and clear at both the local and state level thanks to the Chamber's active Government Affairs Committee. The group creates an annual legislative priority list and promotes those priorities through legislative briefings and our participation in CIRCLE, the legislative lobbying effort lead by the Chambers in Central Illinois.
Community Development
The Chamber is dedicated to building tourism traffic and enhancing our community through projects and events including the Morton Pumpkin Festival and our new Welcome to Morton Signs.
